Study Team

PharmaQuest has an extensive international network of investigators and translators covering over 50 languages, with the capacity for pilot testing PRO measures in over 60 countries.

Project Managers

Each project is overseen by an experienced in-house project manager. All of our project managers have linguistic backgrounds, are native English speakers and work closely with the investigators and translators from project inception through to completion. The project manager provides regular updates to the client during the course of the project and ensures that the final translations are delivered on time.

Investigators

Our investigators are resident in the target country, native speakers of the target language, fluent English speakers, with expertise in outcomes research or related medical research. All our investigators are highly experienced and fully aware of the necessity for accurate, high quality and timely work and the need for regular and detailed updates during each project. They collaborate with us on translation and linguistic validation projects and typically have a background in health / linguistics / medicine / psychology which best places them to contribute to this area of research and for the recruitment of patients necessary for linguistic validation of the translated measures.

Translators/Proofreaders

Our translators and proofreaders are specialists in medical translations and are experienced in translating PRO measures for translation and linguistic validation projects. All of our translators only translate into their native language ensuring the quality and cultural validity of their translations. Our translators and proofreaders are certified and accredited by organisations such as ITI and ATA.

Clinicians

During the course of a project clients may require input on the generated translation from specialist clinicians working in a particular therapeutic area that the target measure is designed for use in. For such projects, PharmaQuest has the capability of recruiting relevant clinicians who are native speakers of the target language, based in the target country and have sufficient experience to perform these reviews.
